Wed., July 1 – We say “Thanks to our Market Members and Supporters”!

Many THANKS to all the friends of the market who come and shop each week, who make generous donations to “Mary Ellen’s Basket” (the Market’s charitable giving program), who sponsor the musicians, and whose yearly membership dollars help keep the market going. Remember, you do not need to be a member to shop the market, but the whole community appreciates the results of your membership support!
Tap your toes to the traditional tunes of “Two Fiddles,” Dudley and Jaqueline Laufman. ”…Two Fiddles are widely loved and respected in New Hampshire for their tireless efforts to preserve and promote what is called New England barn dancing,” while Dudley Laufman has receiveded the nation’s highest honor in the folk and traditional arts: the National Heritage Fellowship, presented by the National Endowment for the Arts. Well Dudley and Jaqueline have been good friends to the Market – and you orta come hear them play!
PS: Remember, farmers work, and grow, and harvest, and produce RAIN or SHINE (including in big thunderstorms), so the Farmers Market is open RAIN or SHINE (except, sadly, in big thunderstorms).

Wednesday, June 24

Last year’s event was totally rained out (though we did get a rather soggy picture in the Concord Monitor the next day).

This year we plan on plenty of nice weather, and plenty of great looking bikes!
